ABOUT THE SHOW

Shifted follows college student Jamie and her roommates as they discover their dorm staircase has the power to shift between alternate dimensions. As they explore the mysteries of the multiverse, they must face off against a power-hungry RA and navigate the perils of parallel universes. Winner of the 2023 Orlando Fringe Festival Critic’s Choice Award for Best Original Script and Brown Venue Patron’s Pick, this action-packed one-act comedy promises to delight audiences of all ages.

Komal Patel

"Jamie"

Komal Patel started her acting journey in 2020 with Truthful Acting Studios in Orlando, FL. In her most recent performance, she took on the role of Tricia in the one-act play “Dissonance” at Theater On The Edge (Orlando, FL).She feels blessed to have been a part of “Shifted” during the summer Fringe Festival 2023 and is grateful to continue working with such a wonderful team of highly talented individuals. She wants to thank her teachers, Marco DiGeorge and Robb Maus, and her friends and family for all their support.

Sami-Jo Harding

"River"

Sami-Jo Harding is a UCF alumna and a current performer at LegoLand Florida Resort and SeaWorld Orlando. Some of her past theatre credits include Shifted (32nd Orlando International Fringe Festival), The Crucible (Wildfire Players), Shrek the Musical: TYA (Athens), and various Project Spotlight Productions during her time with UCF (including Shifted’s first time in the wild!). She's incredibly grateful to still be a part of the award-winning silly fun that is Shifted!

Paige Christoffers

"Casey"

Paige Christoffers is an Orlando-based performer. She just finished her second season scare-acting at SeaWorld Orlando's Howl-O-Scream! Her past theatre credits include Casey in Shifted (32nd Orlando Fringe Festival), Ensemble in Cinderella and Sister Act (Peach State Summer Theatre), and Alithea in The Country Wife (VSU Theatre & Dance). She's a proud graduate of Valdosta State University. She thanks her family and friends for their endless love and support!

Emmitt Williams

"The R.A."

Emmitt Williams is a nutty man! He’s also an actor. Emmitt graduated last May with his BFA in Acting from the University of Central Florida where he was seen in productions like Indecent, The Wolves, The Rover, The Grumpiest Boy in the World, and the off-off-off-off Broadway premiere of Annie Lovelock and Nic Stelter’s Shifted back in 2018. More recently, he was in The Ensemble Company’s productions of The Inheritance and Hir.Emmitt fled from Florida this past December because it reminds him of Hell. He is happy to be back though, and to tell this story again.

Bradley Thornton

"Alex"

Bradley Thornton is a director and actor based in Orlando, FL. He is a recent graduate of the University of Central Florida, and his focus lies in the development of new works. Recent credits include The Haunted Road Drive-Thru Experience (Director), The Underground Game (Director), Of Hawks and Sparrows (Director), and RM080416 (Mike Philmore).

Kassidy Pierce

Director

Kassidy Pierce is a theatrical artist based out of Orlando. Previous directing works include Shifted (Patron's Pick Brown Venue Orlando Fringe 2023) FAV Productions and White Squirrel Playwright’s Round Table. She’s also worked as an Intimacy Choreographer on various projects, including Guys and Dolls Jr. and Big Fish. Shout out to this amazing cast and crew! Annie Lovelock

Playwright & Producer

Annie Lovelock is a writer and artist based in Central Florida. A stage manager, playwright, designer and more, she's determined to dabble in every aspect of the theater until someone chases her out with a broom. A proud UCF alum, she credits her love for playwriting to Project Spotlight, where she and Nic first workshopped Shifted in 2018.Outside the theater, she works in digital marketing at Zillas. Shoutout to all the amazing family and friends who have supported Shifted from the beginning and all the new friends we’ve made along the way!

Nic Stelter

Playwright & Producer

Nic Stelter is a writer and designer who got their start at the University of Central Florida. Nic and Annie have been writing plays since 2017 and are excited to bring their work out of Central Florida. Nic is currently a second-year student at the University of Miami School of Law and is unsure of what to do upon graduation. Most of all, Nic wants to thank the amazing team that makes up Shifted for their incredible dedication and love.
